Bank Head Stables is a friendly, newly opened yard, offering a welcoming environment and a limited number of livery space outside Kendal.
Welcoming atmosphere
At Bank Head Stables, we offer a small, friendly yard with flexible facilities and a limited number of full livery spaces. By keeping the yard small, we hope to maintain a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Spacious stone stables
Our traditional stone stables are warm and welcoming, with generous, comfortable beds so horses can properly rest and settle
Turnout spaces
Cumbria’s weather can be unpredictable, but our fields, two winter turnout pens and lunge pen give us options to keep horses out and active whenever conditions allow.

About us
Rosie has been horse-obsessed for as long as anyone can remember, competing ponies and horses in British Showjumping and retraining her own former racehorse. She studied International Horseracing Business at Hartpury University, worked at a range of yards and now works as a rider at the British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre. She brings plenty of varied, hands-on experience to life at Bank Head Stables.
